Finished this drawing last night and showed Carr today. He enjoyed it and they are going to make limited edition copies to sell and raise money for "Make a Wish" and Mott childrens hospital.Never thought one of my drawings would have a limited edition yet alone be viewed by the public to help raise money.Proud to help make changes in others lives, now I just have to help my own foundation.

Grommet in Lahaina
I just started venturing out to shoot the surfers. It's kind of a local thing and I should tan more before I start showing my face. This shot was taken in the late afternoon outside Lahaina's harbor. Grommet is the name given to young surf boarders. By the way, can someone give me five grand so I can get the Nikon 200-400 f/4. That lens would be perfect for the sports (surfing, windsurfing, etc.) not to mention the wildlife out here.

Weekend Hike
Just a couple shots from a hike this weekend by where I live in Avon, CT.
This one was set up with a remote. I shot this with a pocket wizard I taped to my walking pole. Poles were necessary, not for the pocket wizard but because it was so icy.
Same hike. If you look closely you can see where I placed a strobe I triggered with a pocket wizard. Perhaps pointless but more experimenting than anything.

After the Storm
This was taken here on the Ann Arbor campus after reciving 10 inches. Found this Weeping Willow and overexposed the shot to blend all the highlights then added a little contrast in Photoshop. This was an attempt to create an image similiar to what Ansel Adams would do, since we don't have large mountian ranges.
