I found that during my time in Alaska I was drawn to things in action. The bulk of my shooting for the last 3-4 years has been sports. So the natural progression from sports to Alaska is, naturally, birds. This is my favorite Black-Legged Kittiwake shot. It was taken on a half-foggy/half-sunny day on Resurrection Bay.
